Stuart Offers His Thoughts about Supplements

Part of being an editor for a trade magazine results in getting calls from other journalists asking for our opinions on subjects related to the industry we cover. Our managing editor, Stuart Goldman, recently got that call from our sister publication, Functional Ingredients. He shared his thoughts about how the Dietary Supplement Safety Bill of 2010 might affect health clubs. It’s definitely a bill that our magazine will continue to cover, since one of its requirements is that retailers who sell these supplements must be sure the supplements are registered with the FDA. That’s a task some health club operators may not want to deal with.
